Mozilla prepares final resting place for Firefox 2

PC World reports that means the final version of Firefox 2 will probably be Firefox 2.0.0.19. The current version is 2.0.0.17, so we can likely expect two more updates before Firefox 2 goes off to that big software depot in the sky. Or you know, sticks around on millions of computers belonging to people who refuse to update to Firefox 3 for one reason or another.
Mozilla says that more than two thirds of Firefox users have already upgraded.
So, just how good at time waster games are you? Think you've got the stuff? Well, The World's Hardest Game 2.0 doesn't think you do.
Yes, amazingly, it's possible to have a sequel to a game called "The World's Hardest Game". It doesn't seem logically possible, since if the first one was actually the world's hardest, how could another one come along and share the moniker? It made me doubt the name in the first place. That is, until I tried the game.
The mechanics of the game are very simple. You are a small red square, ...

"The company typically offers support for older browsers for about 6 months after a new version is released."
Typically...meaning, the transition from ff1 to ff2?

Does this mean PPC OS X isn't getting anymore updates?

I think typically meaning the transition from 1.0.x to 1.5.0.x and 1.5.0.x to 2.0.0.x.

Or perhaps you've never heard of Mozilla, which was around long before FF.

I would upgrade to 3.0 if you guys would fix the bookmarks problem. I suppose you don't have time or inculcation to fix minor problems. Meanwhile I'll stick with 2.0.0.16

I did not upgrade for the bookmarks problem and incompatibility with some of my favorite add ons

@John: you can still use your favourite addons by using the "MR Tech Toolkit" and/or "Nightly Tester Tools" extensions, check/search for both http://addons.mozilla.org/ .
@John/john: what about the bookmarks problem? Do you mean you lost your bookmarks after upgrading to Firefox 3? That's because in Firefox 3 bookmarks are stored in a different way than the HTML format in Firefox 2. To explain why and how and to make Firefox 3 auto imports your Firefox 2 bookmarks (and auto stores as 'Firefox 2' HTML), check these two URLs: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Browser.places.importBookmarksHTML and http://kb.mozillazine.org/Browser.bookmarks.autoExportHTML .

The major problem with this is that Asus still haven't released Firefox 3 as an update to the EeePC OS.

FF3 sucks! After 1 week of intense working, I kicked it an downgraded to FF2 !! AddOns which are working great on FF2 either are not available for 3 at all or dont work. Often they even cause the system to hang. To kill FF2 means: Mozilla learned from MS --- same as XP and Vista - no one needs the new system, no one wants it --- so kill the old - and no one even has a chance!
