Pick a clever domain name with Domainr

In the past, you might have used one site to come up with a slick web address that uses a fancy top-level domain, and then another one to see whether your new creation is available. Domainr condenses the whole process into one step. Put in a word, and it will return possible domain names and tell you whether they're available. Basically, it handles everything but the registration.

Domainr also gives you helpful links to information about international TLDs, so you can find out where they're based, who controls them, and how to register one. These can be trickier to sign up for than a .com, so having links to the info ends up saving you a Google search you probably would have made anyway. Domianr practices what it preaches with its own domain name, too. The URL is: domai.nr.
