TorrentFly enters the multi-site torrent search fray
There are several options out now for users that want to search several engines at once for torrrent downloads. My current favorite is still uSniff, but I'm always on the lookout for something newer and better.
Thanks to a persistent commenter, I found out about TorrentFly this morning and decided to check it out.
TorrentFly will search up to twelve sites at once (Sumotorrent, Mininova, PirateBay, Monova, NewTorrents, SeedPeer, Fenopy, TorrentZ, MyBitTorrent, BtJunkie, TorrentHound, Idealtorrent) and you can select which engines you'd like to search.
You're also able to set your preferred column to sort and number of results per page. Clicking any column heading will re-sort your results by health, name, size, seeds, peers, or engine.
I did have a few problems with Sumotorrent results linking to a 404 page, but that may be more to do with Sumo than TorrentFly. Other engines all worked very well, directing me to the corrent torrent download page.
Users that had a beef with uSniff's weird, orange search bar will no doubt prefer TorrentFly's more traditional white version.
There's also a realtime filter (for operations like weeding out just "2009" torrents from my original Mandriva search). It works in an instant, and is very helpful when sifting through large numbers of results. Category tabs are also presented to help you pinpoint a specific type of file.
Torrentfly's clean interface, speed, and customization options may just be enough to make me switch. Give it a try, and let your fellow DS readers know what you think!

With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.
They key to getting good at Graveyard Shift is learning to use ...

This looks like a clone of nowtorrents.
In fact, it only has different colours and it returns the same results.
Lame...

Agreed. I use NowTorrents all the time, and it doesn't seem to do anything different from it. Plus, NowTorrents has friendlier colors and graphics, imho.

Wake me up when there's a search engine that won't show me "Dance of the Dead", a Queen discography, and Elton John's Greatest Hits when I search for "Night of the Living Dead".

http://www.pizzatorrent.com/ is still the best, although it now has links to the Monova tracker, which is just full of spam.

Actually I think it's quite poor.
It returns dozens of results unrelated to your search.
I'm not that crazy about nowtorrents but at least it doesn't innundate me with (much) crap.

Didn't work that well for me.
Better off sticking to searching individually
