OpenOffice.org 3.0 coming Monday, download it today!
That's because the OpenOffice.org team has already sent out the files to a long list of mirror sites. Just pick one in your region, navigate to the folder marked "stable and grab the appropriate files for your operating system from the "3.0.0" folder.
If you're looking for the Windows version you can also download it today from FileHippo, SoftPedia, or MajorGeeks.

Seems to be the same build as 3.0.0 RC4, which was OOO300m9. The version I got from the 3.0.0 folder inside the stable folder was the same.

Well, I have been running the final Betas and the RC1 for some time. OO has now finally become a serious contender to MS Office. To force myself to only use OO I simply did not reinstall MSOffice on my laptop when I have a crash about 6 weeks ago. I am now doing serious daily work with Writer, Calc and Impress and frankly I have not come across any reason to reinstall MSOffice. I am converted! Hallelujah!
