I have an absolute weakness for physics games, and while Civiballs isn't the strongest physics-based game, what it lacks in the physics department it makes up for a few times over in style and fun.
In Civiballs, you are presented with a few colored balls, and your goal is to get those balls into the same-colored urn on the level. The "civi" part of Civiballs is that there are 3 sets of levels to play, each representing a different civilization. While the civilization doesn't affect gameplay, the artwork for each level is beautifully themed to it's appropriate era.
To play the game, you are given only one tool - a sword with which to cut the chains that are holding the balls. The puzzle part of the game is in figuring out what order, and with what timing to cut each chain. Do it right, and all the right balls end up in the right urns, with no stray balls entering an urn (a no-no). Do it wrong, and you get to start over again.
Civiballs is not terribly deep on gameplay; the entire game can be completed in about 15 minutes. But if you enjoy this type of game, it will be a very enjoyable 15 minutes.

The Google Search in Firefox already has this option by default.

Yahoo! Search already has this feature - for a long time too. Personally I like Yahoo! Search more than Google but Gmail is still better than Ymail.

This really drives me crazy. I am just glad they let you disable it. if they didn't have that option, I might stop using google. (yes there are other sites)

I find the hit counter very useful -- if I don't know how to spell something, or if I'm having a hard time deciding on keywords, usually the one with the most hits is the "best" phrasing.

I hardly ever see the front page. I have a keyworded bookmark so I just open a new tab and in the location type go keyword keyword keyword.
The only problem is that sometimes Google thinks I'm a bot. I go to the front page, enter my request, and I get it. And I find that odd, especially since the last time that I happened, I wanted an update to Gmail drives. Then I found out that was using the wrong password on my drive. :-O

Funny how if MS did this, it's automatically a rip-off of Yahoo!'s Search Assist. Though Microsoft has had AutoComplete/Suggestion type of feature built into the Windows Live Toolbar since 2005.
The built-in search box in IE8 will also display Live Search's AutoComplete (or Auto Suggest), as well as a rumor it will be integrated on Live.com (with an off button)

I noticed the other day that it doesn't like C# ... if you try to search for anything C# related, you end up with plain old C...
