Preview the new Facebook profile page
One of the most prominent new features will be an emphasis on the mini-feed. In fact, it might be safer to start calling it a news feed, since it's not so mini-anymore. When you first view a profile, what you'll see is a list of recent activity on that account.
You can also click on tabs for Info, Photos, or Boxes. Info brings up your contact information, group membership, and other info. Boxes shows all the Facebook apps that are currently littering your main profile page. And we're going to let you figure out for yourself what shows up in the Photos tab.

Update: Facebook seems to have disabled the www.new.facebook.com page sometime in the last few hours. But trust us, it looks something like the image above!

With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.
They key to getting good at Graveyard Shift is learning to use ...

If you install the Developers application, you should always have access to the new version (I've installed the app and I do). I've actually had access to the new profile for quite some time thanks to it. You can find it at http://www.facebook.com/developers/

Once you have it installed, what do you need to do to access the new version?

Once it's installed, just head on over to http://www.new.facebook.com/profile.php and you should hopefully see the new version. I installed the developer app and got the new version quite a while ago, but I recall it being as simple as that.

Works fine for me, I believe you need the Developer Application to be able to view it.

Is this a phishing scam? Like www.secure_ebay.com, etc...

not at all, with something like www.secure_ebay.com, secure_ebay. is the actual domain whereas in www.new.facebook.com, facbook.com is the domain and "new" is the sub-domain.

You're right, it really looks a lot like Live Spaces. http://spaces.live.com/
The header bar at the top, most profile information at the left, and main content in the center and right. Though done better, I guess.

It does work as I have tried it before with this same method. It's Facebook that disabled it in the meantime.
By the way, any ETA on when are they introducing the new profile, or still it's just 'soon'.

Anyone else noticed that they've changed it again in the last few hours?
When I saw the new design earlier, the basic info & profile pic was on the right, and now it's on the left.
I like it even better now. :)

I don't much care for the newer version. However, it is nothing compared to the hideousness that is myspace.

It worked for me. I think they enabled it, again. Once you log in and go to new.facebook.com, you'll see it. If you don't like it, you can follow the link in the upper right hand corner - "back to the old facebook."
I like that the apps are on their own page, but I am not a fan of the new layout.

Yes, I just tried the link they suggest on Facebook's sign-in page, but it still does not work.
Also, can someone tell me if they are having problems with the Friend Finder feature? Mine stopped working a few months ago, and the Facebook support team has been no help at all. They keep telling me the problem has been fixed. Not true. I'm using Yahoo for my email, which they say they support. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Ellison
