Upload PDFs to Google Docs
On Tuesday we mentioned that the Google System Blog uncovered some signs that Google Docs would be getting PDF support. Today, Google has confirmed the feature.
Google has just introduced support to upload, preview and share PDF files via Google Docs. Editing isn't available right now, but you can copy and paste text. To upload a PDF file, just click on the Upload button in the Docs toolbar and select the file on your computer. Now you can view and share that file with others across the web.
We hope PDF editing support is in the pipeline, but having the ability to share PDFs is a great new addition.

Google I/O sessions now online
More than 70 session videos and slides are now available from last month's Google I/O conference. Everything from OpenSocial, App Engine, Anroid and all the various Google APIs are represented. If you weren't able to make it to San Francisco, watch the videos and follow along with the slides from the comfort of your own home.

Edit the Google Mobile page
The mobile version of Google's home page, http://www.google.com/m can be customized with certain iGoogle gadgets for a more personalized look and feel. Unfortunately, editing the GoogleM page leaves a lot to be desired.
Google System Blog reveals that you can now edit your Mobile page from within iGoogle's Settings. A mobile section now appears below the traditional gadget layout and you can preview and add gadgets from the comfort of your browser, instead of on your phone.

Easy way to export gCal ICS files
The Google System Blog featured a great tip for exporting an ICS version of all your Google Calendars so that you can use them on your desktop with iCal or Sunbird or another desktop calendar program.
Simply visit https://www.google.com/calendar/exporticalzip and the resulting zip file will contain a folder with an ICS file for each calendar. Note: this will only include calendars that you can edit. Public calendars or shared calendars that you have view-only access will not be included.
If you are a Google Apps user, just go to http://www.google.com/calendar/hosted/YOURDOMAIN/exporticalzip
Now, if only Google could make synching calendars from the desktop with gCal a bit easier.

Use Google Docs for Craigslist ads
The Google Docs Blog has a GREAT tip for using Google Docs to create a Craigslist listing. By creating the ad copy in Google Docs and then adding in a contact form (which saves your inbox from CL spam), the process of listing on Craigslist can be much more streamlined and easier to manage.

Google's agreement with Yahoo!
As we reported yesterday, now that the Microsoft/Yahoo! deal is officially kaput, Google and Yahoo! are forging a new advertising partnership.
Google released a press release outlining the agreement, but the Official Google Blog posted an entry outlining what the agreement is, and just as importantly, what the agreement is not.
The Google/Yahoo! AdSense deal is NOT a merger, nor does is preclude Yahoo! from making similar agreements with other companies. The phrase that pays seems to be "healthy competition" -- Google really wants to push the message that this arrangement isn't removing a competitor from the playing field. We'll remain quietly skeptical (we don't think Google is evil, but we also don't think this isn't helping them a whole lot).
