Apple announces MobileMe: Sync your PC, Mac, and iPhone
In other words, you can synchronize your Mac, PC, and iPhone. The service works with Mac's Mail.app, iCal, and Address book. On Windows, the service syncs with Outlook. In addition to PIM data, you can use MobileMe to syncrhonize photos from your iPhone.
Apple's Phil Schiller demonstrated the new service at WWDC this morning, showing you email gets pushed to all devices in a matter of seconds. There are also web based versions of the applications that look like desktop apps, including a photo application that looks like iPhoto.
The service will replace .Mac, and current .Mac users will automatically be upgraded to MobileMe. For new customers, the service will cost $99 per year for 20GB of online storage. There's a 60 day free trial available as well. MobileMe isn't live yet, but will be available at Me.com soon.

With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.

Brad: What impresses me with MobileMe is the massive volume of records being replicated on multiple devices. can't their yahoo email already do push email? and because it is web based you can have that on any computer with a internet connection.

MobileMe seems to be a copy of what Windows Live, Google, and even Yahoo! already do.
Just with a pretty glossy interface and a $99 price tag. Nice try, Apple.

MobileMe is just a Live Mesh copycat. According to Apple, MobileMe is poised to be a way to sync content from your iPhone to your computer. Live Mesh is a device synchronization platform that works with far more devices than what MobileMe can do.
Based on what's said, MobileMe does : Storage, Mail, Calendar, Contacts, Gallery, and iDisk.
Guess what? Windows Live does ALL that. Yahoo! and Google do most except real file storage and sharing. All 3 of these guys also do it for FREE. And there's mobile version as well with "Push" features.
I'm kinda surprised how the article doesn't even seem to hint that MobileMe might not even be all that.
