Windows Live Writer tech preview adds image editing features
The latest version has a revised toolbar, tabs for switching views and word count features. But probably the most notable change is the addition of basic image editing support. You can now crop, tilt, or rotate images in Windows live Writer. There are also additional border styles including reflection and rounded corners.
You can also upload videos directly to Soapbox, MSN's answer to YouTube, for easy embedding in posts. We'd be happier if you could upload videos to YouTube and other sites as well, but this is still just a technical preview, so perhaps support for other sites will come in a future release.

Sushi Cat is one of the cutest Flash games I've ever run across. You play a blue cat with a major talent for eating and, fortunately for you, every level is filled with delicious sushi! The controls are simple: you aim and drop from the top of the screen using the mouse, trying to hit as much sushi as you can on the way down. Eat enough sushi, and you can go on to the next level.

Ditto on the ability to upload video elsewhere. MS seems to be getting this in many places but sadly does continue to shoehorn users into their properties in others.
But truth be told, the Soapbox provides a better video experience both onsite and embedded than the more popular ones.
Just sayin...
