Schwag. We has some. Tradeshows are universally loved for their goody bags loaded with tons of stuff you'll have to find room for in your suitcase.
If you couldn't make it to SXSW, at least you can live vicariously through our own personal schwag unboxing. We've painstakingly created a mess in the hallway of the convention center, just for your amusement. Don't you love us?
If you did make it to Austin, even with the crazy snowstorm in Dallas, make sure you stop by our Download Squad meetup, Saturday afternoon.

There were a total of 26000 schwag bags put together for SXSW this year. Every volunteer working the festival is required to attend the bag stuffing that occured last night.
The bag stuffing is like an olympic version of trick or treating with half the people walking up and down the lines of schwag while the other half stays stationary at each item putting one in each bag as the people walk by.
The setup for stuffing started at 8 am with the actual stuffing starting at 6pm and lasting until close to 10 pm.

and I hate to point this out - this is the worst pictorial coverage of anything ever. I can see that all that bag stuffing was a waste of time (not one gadget, not even a branded pen!) but blurry repetitious photos - 90% of which showed exactly the same boring magazine covers - give us a break dsquad!
