Introducing Dark Alex's Time Machine for PSP

PSP developer extraordinaire Dark Alex is at it again, pushing the boundaries of firmware hacking to whole new places. His latest creation, Time Machine, is perhaps his greatest feat yet. This gem of a hack allows one to run previous firmwares on the PSP by use of the Pandora Battery.

Why is this cool? The biggest reason we can see is this: the 1.50 firmware, which is generally the most popular base for homebrew code, does not run on the Slim PSP. However, DaX has managed to create a hybrid 1.50 firmware with modules from 3.40 that runs just fine with Time Machine! This means that PSP slim owners no longer need to worry about compatibility issues.

i sorta have the same problem as the other 2 but except i have 3.9 (stupid m wanted to update) and i've been wanting to hack my psp for so long but it always said u need a 1.0 or 1.5, can anyone tell me how to hack my psp with out using a Pandora battery

ok well im new to the psp world and i have the same problem as elieISkrazy. i have a psp version 3.9 and i want to play n64 games on it. i know i need a psp version 1.0 or 1.5 but i have no idea on how to do it.i've seen some emulators but the highest version i seen is 2.71 or something like that. i dont know how to get cfw or m33.ive heard of irshell but im not so clear on what it is. i need all the help i can get.

Hi, i have a psp slim 3.60. Need help modding. What would be my best option (firmware 1.50 the best?) Also does the time machine work via vista. I have heard it only works on xp??? thanks dpm27@hotmail.co.uk

You guys need to research creation and use of a Pandora battery and stick. It is not so easy without access to a pre-hacked PSP, but it is do-able. Time Machine is a compatibility aid for hacked Slims.

my firmware is 3.93 and i cant download the custom firmware. I went to my game file and the custom firmware is there but when i boot it up it says game cannot start. does
any one know what im doing wrong

Civiballs is a beautiful, soothing physics puzzle Time Waster

I have an absolute weakness for physics games, and while Civiballs isn't the strongest physics-based game, what it lacks in the physics department it makes up for a few times over in style and fun.

In Civiballs, you are presented with a few colored balls, and your goal is to get those balls into the same-colored urn on the level. The "civi" part of Civiballs is that there are 3 sets of levels to play, each representing a different civilization. While the civilization doesn't affect gameplay, the artwork for each level is beautifully themed to it's appropriate era.

To play the game, you are given only one tool - a sword with which to cut the chains that are holding the balls. The puzzle part of the game is in figuring out what order, and with what timing to cut each chain. Do it right, and all the right balls end up in the right urns, with no stray balls entering an urn (a no-no). Do it wrong, and you get to start over again.

Civiballs is not terribly deep on gameplay; the entire game can be completed in about 15 minutes. But if you enjoy this type of game, it will be a very enjoyable 15 minutes.
