Five smart sex podcasts
(Warning to readers. This column both acknowledges the existence of sex, and explores the ways sex and sexuality relate to and are enhanced by the internet. If you're offended by such content, don't take the jump.)
1. Open Source SexOpen Source Sex isn't just one of the oldest sex podcasts; it's one of the oldest podcasts, period. Going strong since March 2005, Open Source Sex is hosted by erotica writer and sex educator Violet Blue. The show features straightforward sexual health information, timely discussions about sex and politics, readings of hot stories, interviews with other smart sex people, and, of course, more. Open Source Sex has won numerous awards, which should come as no surprise once you give it a listen.
The official description of Polyamory Weekly is "Tales from the front of responsible non-monogamy from a pansexual, kink-friendly point of view." While that tagline is accurate, it doesn't do justice to the full awesomeness of the show. By consistently engaging with and supporting the poly community (um, because she's part of it herself), Cunning Minx has established herself as the polyamory expert online. She's insightful, down-to-earth, and has a wry sense of humor that never fails to make me laugh out loud. The show is also really well done from a technical point of view; check it out if you want to hear editing and mixing done right.
3. Midwest Teen Sex ShowIf you haven't heard of this show by now, you'll have to excuse me as I marvel at the breadth of the rock you've been living under. The Midwest Teen Sex Show is, in a word, amazing. Before I'd watched any episodes, I noticed lots of people singing its praises; but I'll admit the cynical side of me thought, "Oh, come on; how good can it be?" Well, I'm here to tell you, it really is that good. The mainstream media has been taking notice, too. MTSS has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, the CBS Evening News, and a bunch of other places that are growing too numerous to count.
4. Live Girl ReviewLive Girl Review is a new video project by Audacia Ray, the talented lady who brought us Naked on the Internet: Hookups, Downloads, and Cashing in on Internet Sexploration (which should be required reading for anyone interested in sex and the Web). The title is a pretty literal description of the show: Audacia gets in front of the camera and reviews a sex toy, book, Web site, film, you name it. The show is refreshing in its straight-up honesty; Audacia tells you stuff you'll actually give a crap about, rather than shilling for a particular product. Bonus: twice a week, you'll get a peek Inside Dacia's Dirty Mind. Yay for smut!
5. Sex Is FunOn Sex Is Fun, hosts Coochie, Lorax, and Kidder discuss a wide variety of sexual topics and do a great job of walking the sometimes fine line between light-hearted and dismissive. Sure, sex is serious business 'n' all, but that doesn't mean a discussion about it has to feel like a funeral procession. The Sex Is Fun gang recently posted their 100th episode, a retrospective of the preceding 99 episodes. It's a great starting point for anyone new to the show.
That should be enough to keep you sated for a while! And please share your own favorites in the comments section -- there are a lot of other excellent sex podcasts out there.

So, just how good at time waster games are you? Think you've got the stuff? Well, The World's Hardest Game 2.0 doesn't think you do.
Yes, amazingly, it's possible to have a sequel to a game called "The World's Hardest Game". It doesn't seem logically possible, since if the first one was actually the world's hardest, how could another one come along and share the moniker? It made me doubt the name in the first place. That is, until I tried the game.
The mechanics of the game are very simple. You are a small red square, ...
