Miro gets refreshed to version 1.1, Bit Torrent dramatically improved
Second, Miro 1.1 has made it easier to find the search results you're looking for by instituting a combined search across all 5 of their search engines. Users who want to only search the engines one at a time can still do so by choosing the engines they're most interested in seeing results from.
If you're not a user of Miro yet, we encourage you to take a look its way. Miro is a media viewing software package that allows you to view almost any video file format, search for and view YouTube videos, and access video podcasts via BitTorrent. Additionally, Miro is an open source video platform that lacks any DRM and allows unrestricted viewing of their materials. Also, they Miro takes pride in it's selection of HD content.

Miro is the best, just so much more utility, more signal less noise.
If you really wanna see the best part of Miro, get a big NAS from Buffalo or something and set it to get your favorite stuff before you got to bed at night. When you wake up the next morning, voila. Drag and drop to your media player of choice ( jailbreak iPod Touch ) and go. Zero hassles:

I can't get into Miro. I've tried it a few times, but in the end I just go back to using WMP or iTunes. I'm not a big Youtube watcher, and the rest of the vidcasts I watch I can d/l through iTunes.
There were also a few annoying bugs/hang-ups that soured me a bit.
In the end, while it was a decent utility, it didn't "wow" me enough to switch away from what I currently use.

Miro is *amazing* for bittorrent feeds like the ones on the front page of Mininova.
Also, this site for TV:

I find Miro incredibly slow, therefore I don't use it. If they can somehow make it faster, I'm willing to try it again.

I agree Miro is very good.
For torrents, I should recommend to see the site Youtorrent. More details: Two torrent sites of note Youtorrent and Bitlet
