Mozilla, the company responsible for the Firefox web browser, recently unveiled a live chat feature on their support page. The service is staffed by a handful of volunteers, and is currently only open for a few hours a day. Wow, that is unbelievably cool. Thankfully, I haven't had much need for tech support with my FF, but it's neat to have the option.

Hi there, I'm one of the "agents" answering calls on Firefox Support. Even though there are set hours of operation, you can visit the Live Chat page at anytime - and Foxkeh will say "we're open" if there are any agents logged on, and "we're closed" if no-one is around. At this very moment there are about 15 voluntering folks standing by for your support calls :)

That is unusual. Often with paying sites you can't even get support.

Amazing! Keep it up, Mozilla! Maybe MS will learn from you and start offering free support.
