PopURI lets you ego surf in style, and a few scoops more

popuriAll of us love to stroke our own ego and what better way to do that than to egosurf?
You know, the obsessive need to follow your own web stats on a daily, or even hourly basis?

PopURI, a slick looking web-service which serves the ego surfing set, in a simple and straightforward manner.

PopURI is similar to Xinu, Feedburner or Mint but, unlike the previous three, PopURI has most of the geek-stuff truncated. What is left is pure, ego-boasting, web-site ranks served fresh by a service with a wacky domain name.

PopURI currently offers several popular, SEO favourite, ranking algorithms which when stripped down, appear as Google, Alexa, Yahoo, Live search, Technorati ranks/backlinks, Bloglines subscribers and del.icio.us bookmarks. All the results are loaded in the same page accompanied by groovy ajax-loaders. They also offer a javascript-widget for your site/blog/web-page so that you can show of your bling to your friends, foes, families and visitors in general.

For a quick glance at your (more like your site's) current standings, PopURI is an excellent solution. The results that are spewed also have detailed informations available under...umm..the "details" tab. So if you are an old school ego-surfer, that might come in handy as well.
