Skype 2.7 beta for Mac released: Now with Leopard support
Skype has released a new build of Skype 2.7 beta for Mac. Probably the most important feature in the latest release is support for OS X 10.5 Leopard. But it looks like the Skype team is also continuing its march toward feature parity across the Mac, Linux, and PC versions of the popular internet telephony software.A few months ago Skype launched high-res video support for video chat using the Windows client. When we say high-res, we don't mean HDTV resolutions, we're just talking plain old 640 x 480 pixel VGA resolution. But that's still a much sharper image than you'll get using the Linux or Mac versions of Skype, which only support 320 x 240 pixels.
Skype 2.7 beta for Mac is the first OS X build to support VGA video at 25 frames per second. If you've got a slower internet connection, you can also adjust your video settings.
We're guessing it'll be a while before we see VGA support for the Linux client, since Skype just got around to adding video to Skype 2.0 beta for Linux last month.

With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.
They key to getting good at Graveyard Shift is learning to use ...

Surely you mean 'Skype 2.7.0.195 Beta released'? The 2.7 beta has been out for months (released August 15th) and November 29th's release is a minor build update. http://share.skype.com/sites/en/2007/08/skype_27_for_mac_beta_is_out.html

The articles says: "Skype 2.7 beta for Mac is the first OS X build to support VGA video at 25 frames per second. If you've got a slower internet connection, you can also adjust your video settings." I assume this refers to Skype 2.7.0.195 Beta which I just installed.
Anyone know where the referenced settings are hidden? I'd like to reduce the video window to less than 640 x 480
