CDBurnerXP 4: Free CD/DVD authoring tool
Despite its name, CDBurnerXP is not just a CD burning application for Windows XP. It's actually one of the most full featured free CD and DVD burning utilities you're likely to find for Windows 2000/XP/Vista.CDBurnerXP 4 was recently released, and it has some impressive new features:

I will not be upgrading to version 4 as it is built on Microsoft's .Net platform, which is utter crap. I'll be sticking to v.3.0.116.

.NET is no "utter crap". In fact, Vista includes it by default, so sooner or later you will *have to* use it anyway. But if the old version works fine for you - which contains open security holes btw - don't rant about the new version...
