Find live music near you with Gruvr
But what does Gruvr do, and is it useful?
Enter your city, zip code, or other geographic info and Gruvr will pull up a list of concerts near you in chronological order, starting today. You can limit your search to shows within 5 miles, 10 miles, or some other interval. Gruvr also plots the location of each concert on a Google Map.
Here's where it begins to get a bit annoying. Gruvr will then show information from one location to another rapidly. Too rapidly. It's kind of hard on the eyes. You can also type in a band name and track their tour dates across the country. But the visual experience is a bit jarring. We'll probably stick with Pollstar for now.

With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.

The term "Web 2.0" has now been changed to "Wb 2.0" in accordance with the removal of all "e" letters in wb 2.0 startups.

Its really helpful to get update and information about music shows. i think in web 2.0 world we might find some sites with more and more functionality. really useful site, thanks for sharing.

Hey! Thanks for the observation about the animation - we slowed it down a bit.
When we actually get around to launching this thing, we'll add some kind of speed control.... until then, you can a) click the logo or b) scroll down to see the list of shows.
Meanwhile, the point of the Mashable post was really about the little widget we are pre-releasing to find some partner blogs...

the umlaut over the "u". As your dad what a "FükenGrüvr" is :-) He may start dancing.
See, once upon a time, there were these people who used to drive around following certain bands so they could keep dancin'. The favored vehicle was VW bus or beetle. Dancing. Driving...

Well. One day, one of us gruvin' folks had a flash of inspiration and said 'Fahrvergnugen? I'm...I'm - FükenGrüvin!! ... and overnight, tons of VW vehicles of the era were sporting little parody stickers, with a Dancing sticky:

What made the parody funny was - well, it wasnt literal F*cking obscenity - so of course, you shouldn't spell 'groover' out either.
