Weekend Web 2.0 roundup for September 8th

Diigo

Diigo
Collect and share online information from anywhere. This online application will allow users to make presentations of web pages that have been saved and noted. It's a way to introduce friends and other users to new sites. You can place text, notes and music on the bookmarked site as well. It is currently sitting in beta, and requires an invite to check out, but there are some samples to look at.

where

Where
Customize your mobile phone with Where widgets. These little suckers make it possible to search for local points of interest, get directions, grab weather reports, and even track golf courses and vineyards. uLocate has built Where through some mobile GPS technology that works through the partnership on carrier networks.

preezo

Preezo
Take Microsoft Powerpoint and integrate it online. That's what Prezzo has done. Similar to Zoho Show, Preezo takes slideshows online, with full embeddable abilities and sharing and collaboration features. Professional quality presentations can be made with this tool, just as with Powerpoint. Its Ajax interface has everything you would expect as far as a tool set is considered.

flickriver

Flickriver
Looking for images? Or just surfing around, Flickriver is just another fun way to check out some Flickr photos. It used the Flickr API to view photos that can be searched by user, group or by tags.

When is my wedding

When is my wedding
This little wedding ticker application might not be for the boys. Well, actually it might be since we are normally forgetful. Scratch that, so busy with other stuff, that we forget some things. This online application creates a wedding ticker counting down the days to your wedding. Hey, reminders are always good, especially when your bride puts you in charge of those important wedding tasks. Choose a design, and place code to embed the ticker into your favorite social network, blog or website.
