The Navigation is now very clean, easy to understand and very simple to get around. It's split up into three main sections Bookmarks, People and Tags. A new My Tags section lets you see all of your tags in a cloud format which is handy to easily grad a list of links relating.

The Search feature allows for searching in the user's own bookmarks as well as in a network of bookmarks or even in all delicious users bookmarks.

The introduction of a Tag Bar makes it quick to navigate around bookmarks using tags. The tag bar has an auto complete feature, and you can sort tags alphabetically, by most recent, and by popularity.

Bookmarks have been redesigned so they are easier to read and understand at first glance. Views can also be changed to have more information present on bookmarks such as a URL. Bookmark popularity is also now evident in the shade of a blue box with a number in it beside the bookmark. The darker it is the more people have it bookmarked.

Sidebar

• Top 10 tags
• New bundles
• Private nicknames

From the Sidebar, bookmarks are now refined into bundles. They can also be used to subscribe to networks and check out what other users bookmark tag collection is like. However, the top 10 feature here is great to see what a specific user is highly interested in. As with any other network, some users do not use their real names, and this can get confusing. Any user in your network can now be given a private nickname that is displayed so you can easily determine who they are from here.



Action Box

An Action box has been added which gives users a list of the most common actions used for the current page. For instance, if you had just bookmarked a page, you will see links to share, do not share, delete, add tag and remove tag. As well, the Action box will also give you the ability to save a new bookmark, create a public profile, and bulk edit to change a group of bookmarks all at once.

In all, the new delicious redesign looks great. We honestly wouldn't change a thing. The team has done a great job here and done what any company should when looking to revamp their services: listen and follow what your users want. It's been a long time coming but it's finally almost ready to roll out to all users. After a few more retouches, we should be getting notifications as to when the new service will launch to the public. Good job delicious!
