Hotmail users get a little more storage
We haven't heard from Microsoft's Hotmail in a little while, but now that we have, we are happy about them staying in the email game and making some performance adjustments. With Google's Gmail and Yahoo's Mail throwing Gigabytes at users, it was time that Hotmail stepped up its game and gave users a little more storage. The change from 2GB of free email, just got boosted to 5GB, with paid users getting 10GB of storage. Could it be too late? Have users already switched to another service because of the lack of space?
Other changes the team has implemented are increasing the amount of time that messages stay in junk and deleted items, contact de-duplication, smaller header so users can see more of the email, vacation replies, accepting meeting requests, and the ability to turn off the today page. With all these new changes to Hotmail, it sounds like we have an online Outlook integration in the works.
With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.
They key to getting good at Graveyard Shift is learning to use ...

I really like the new hotmail...And Microsoft is defiantly taking it's revival very seriously, The current version works on every platform I've tried it on, and they do a good bit to make sure the paid version makes it worth your while.
Coruse, I'm a MS Fanboy to a certain extent, but only recently, and only because they've done so much to make them a much more likable company, especially towards developers.

Doesn't changed the fact that it's slower than molasses, obnoxious with the ads, and the interface isn't as simple.
Stickin' with gmail till all that gets fixed and they implement the same blackberry shtick google has going on.

Yahoo have unlimited space while Gmail have nearly 3GB.
I check my hotmail, I have only 1GB space instead 250MB.

I'd say the changes are meant to better integrate with the new Windows Live Mail (desktop) client. The beta currently works pretty well with Hotmail and MSN accounts. I hope they add a newer and decent calendar soon because that's definitely lacking.

I've an idea. Why doesn't someone actual provide numbers about which service gets used how much. And then I'm willing to bet MS will still have ~40% of the online e-mail market with everything else lagging far behind.
