Yahoo's student design expo innovations
The future of the web saw the light at Yahoo's recent Design Expo. The event which was held last week saw some interesting takes on innovation and creativity focused on the theme of Design + Build. The Design Expo which was sponsored by Yahoo held various workshops and lectures that focused on the techniques and tools used for building and experimenting on the web. Students from a variety of different universities around the world were asked to design prototypes that captured the physical, social and media experience. The top rated teams were asked to present their projects, among them were:
- CubeBrowser is a 3D six-display cube that acts as a browser for Flickr photos.
- The Identity Protection System allows you to hide or reveal your photo image.
