How to run multiple Gmail accounts at once
This is something that surely boggles many Gmail users every day,how to log in to more than one Gmail account at the same time. Constantly logging in and out of different Gmail accounts to check and respond to messages gets really tiring, really fast, thanks to cookies. DLS dove in to discover a few options out there in the world wide web to log in to a few of your Google Gmail accounts at the same time.
- Multiple Browsers. Run 3 Gmail accounts at once: Load up Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer at the same time, each with a separate Gmail account open. Simply switch between browsers to check your accounts.
- One Browser. Run 2 accounts in the same browser: Install the IE tab Firefox extension. This allows users to embed Internet Explorer windows in Firefox tabs: Open up one Gmail in a regular Firefox tab, and another in an IE Firefox tab.
- Terminal Typing for Mac users: Use the Firefox and Safari profile manager to manage profiles for each Gmail account. Only do this if you are comfortable using the Terminal.
- Old Computer: Dust off that old computer in your basement, hook it up to the internet and use it for your least important Gmail account.
With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.
They key to getting good at Graveyard Shift is learning to use ...

rooSwitch is a great GUI app for Mac OS X that is killer for managing multiple profiles for nearly any app. It would be perfect for this:

Or just use the "Get mail from other accounts" and "Send mail as" in the gmail settings.

Just install the CookiePie add on for Firefox and open different tabs with separate cookie management. Then you can have as many Gmail accounts active as you want. Also Gmail for Domains uses a different cookie scheme so you can be logged into your regular GMAIL account and Gmail for Domains account even without the help of CookiePie.
You can cookiepie at http://www.nektra.com/oss/firefox/extensions/cookiepie/

I use the Gmail Manager Extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1320
You can see if you've got mail in all of your accounts in your sidebar at once. Must-have for me.

Tip of the hat to #2. Why in the world would you want to open three different applications? Forward all of your mail to a single account. Add labels in the main account to tag which account it is coming from. Use the "Send Mail As" option, Settings > Account > Send Mail As which will allow you to reply with a from address of any of your accounts.

Yep, Gmail manager is the way to go for me too in Firefox. Instantaneous login from the icons in the toolbar, along with email snippets to see whats going on in the other accounts with logging in.

#2 and #5 are just like me. I have 5 email accounts, 4 are from gmail and one is my ISP. I use one of my Gmail accounts as the main, and i get all the emails from the other 4 and snwer from there too. I also use Gmail notifier in my Firefox to check just the main account, and voila! everything works like a charm, i can check all my emails anywhere i am.

"Send mail as" is fine unless you want to keep your main account private. The headers will include your main account address in the Sender header.
From: "Joe Doe"
Sender: joeprivate@gmail.com
To: someoneelse@somewhere.com
Just saying, is all. :-)

Making it way too hard on yourselves:
Gmail Settings\Forwarding and Pop
Forward an copy of incoming mail to your other account. Also has auto-delete or auto-archive to your taste. Get fancy with filters on the other account.

In Outlook, you can create a new folder and set the Hoempage property to gmail. Then when you click on that folder in your Personal Folders list, you'll see your logged in GMail account. Use Outlook to pull the POP, and there you go. Or, you know, set them both up for pop and be done with it.

Its simple, Create all the account you wanna use, have them all forward to a single account you can use to check them all, and either
A.) setup the reply as feature so you can send email as one of your other addresses (this isn't full proof because the email your sending from still show up as "This email sent from xxx on behalf of xxx"
B.) my favorite option is to setup multiple accounts in Thunderbird and reply to any emails from that client this way you keep your individual email addresses intact and separate from one another

All you people saying "just forward the mail" forget that sometimes you want to have multiple people with their own accounts, not just one person with multiple accounts. Sometimes my wife wants to check her mail, but she's closer to my computer than she is to her own. Sometimes she's courteous about it and opens IE (so that I stay logged in under Firefox), but sometimes she logs me out and logs herself in, which is... irksome. I would love it if Google implemented multiple sign-in like Yahoo mail has. My parents use Yahoo, and I guess you can put in multiple username/password combinations at some point, then there's a single click link to switch from one person's inbox to the other, and I think you can even have both open at the same time in different tabs. It would be nice if Google gave you the same option...

A partial and very time saving option I have found is to configure eprompter for multiple gmail or other email accounts. This allows you to view all emails in all accounts in the same location. It is the first step I take and primarily use it to eliminate junk and get a cursory view of all my email.
