Moving made simple with Moveme
With so many hassles and things to worry about when moving, why not hire a professional. Better yet, check out a free service called Moveme.Moveme is based and focused on the London, UK area. It offers individuals and families an easy way to keep track of their moving tasks like changing mailing addresses, forwarding mail, hiring a moving truck and activating new utilities. The interface is clean, simple, and easy to navigate. Upon entering your current, new address and date to be moved in, Moveme plots everything down on a calendar, and schedules tasks from the current date up until the move time. Task can be viewed in a list format, on a calendar, and reminders can be sent out. Letters and forms can also be created through Moveme to inform your contacts and suppliers of your new address.

Too bad they don't have a United States version of this. Or do they? If anyone knows of a similar site that works in the USA please let me know. Thanks.

Hi, I founded moveme.com with Keith McNeilly. Cheers for the post. If you need a version of this service in the USA try Whitefence, its fairly cool or USHIP.com also not a bad site.
We are UK based but have big plans, if any of you have moving horror stories or need any moving advice please email me - via the moveme.com site and I would be delighted to help - best wishes - MC
