Social networks are obviously where it's at, and the more niche and targeted they can get, all the better for users. Its now time for clothes lovers to unite with this latest network.Trendmill is the newest member to hit the fashion social network scene. Users can upload images of clothes they wish to own, as well as clothes they do own. Trendmillers can then vote and rate on other user's clothes giving them the thumbs up or down while they search for the next in thing. Brands are also represented here with their lines with users rating and ranking them, a good marketing tool to gauge what customers are fond of. Trendmill also features some fashion editorial content and links out to fashion in the news.

While the niche interests of social networks sites must grow I believe that sites like Trendmill diversify to too great a degree.
While targeting one audience is fantastic, they can't provide what is effectively one feature to that audience. The key to MySpace has been the sheer volume of what people can do. To this end I propose that the social fashion sites, including Fashionising.com and Glam, will have greater longevity.
