Machines at War: real-time strategy game for Windows Mobile
It's been a few years since a really great real-time strategy game has been released for Windows Mobile devices. The popular Warfare Incorporated is designed to run on Windows Mobile 2003, although it may also work on newer devices. But Isotope 244 is working on a brand new game called Machines at War. It's designed for Windows Mobile 2003/2003SE, 5.0, and all three versions of Windows Mobile 6, including devices with square screens.
The game features 40 different types of units and structures, random or customized maps with details landscapes, and a moddable game engine.
A public beta of Machines at War is available for free, although the developers are soliciting feedback from anyone who tries the game out.
