One of the quickest way to put a personal stamp on your computer is to use custom icons. For those of us that have become addicted to creating the perfect icon set, it can become a mission to search out the most beautiful icon for some specific application or folder.

With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.

There are two ways to do this:
1.Free approach- Mount the .dmg file, right-click on the icon and "getinfo". Do the same for the folder to which you want to apply this icon. Now select the target icon thumbnail at the top of the popup, copy it using keyboard short cut (apple+C). Then select icon thumbnail at the top of the destination folder and paste (apple+V). Voila!
2. Paid approach- Candy bar from http://www.panic.com/candybar/ which is an icon management app

they also have them for windows, though the mac selection is much bigger

"The icons contained in these sets are intended for personal desktop use ONLY." Which means you cannot use the Pixel Press icons for your website or in applications. Just to be clear and to prevent people from getting into trouble ;)
