Adobe Digital Editions eBook reader released
While Adobe's new Digital Editions eBook reader doesn't solve the latter problem, it is a slick new solution for reading PDF, Flash, and XML files. It has a much smaller footprint than Adobe Reader and is designed specifically for reading books.
You can make bookmarks, add text notes, and change font sizes with ease. There also seem to be about a dozen ways to flip pages (with the up and down, right or left keys on your keyboard, the scrollwheel on your mouse, or the scrollbar on the side of the page).
Digital Editions is currently available for Mac and PC, with a Linux beta due out later this year. It'd be nice to see Adobe make a mobile version for Windows Mobile and Palm devices. While there's an Adobe Reader client for Windows Mobile it's clunky and slow.

An alternative for reading your Guttemberg books and any other txt, rtf, pdb, prc and html books is uBook [ http://www.gowerpoint.com/ ] freeware/shareware.
It was dessigned specifically to read books, taking care of typography, appearance of the cover, etc.
It might look very similar to the upper picture.

I was taking a look at the source code for the swf link trying to manually download so I can install on other computers and found a reference to "Yahoo! Games - Texas Hold-em Poker Installer"
