Try out iPhone apps a few weeks early

iPhone AppsCan't wait until June 29th to try out some new iPhone applications? You don't have to.

Since the iPhone's third party programs are essentially web pages that can be accessed through Safari, you can already check out some of the first applications designed for the iPhone. For example, there's already a Digg interface, a cheap gas finder, and a nifty front end for several online newspapers.

Someone's also been smart enough to snatch up the domain for iPhoneApplicationlist.com. The site is basically a blog that tracks new applications released for the iPhone. You should be able to test out most of the functions on these web-based programs using Safari or Firefox. Although they're designed for finger-navigation, they still work pretty well with a mouse and keyboard.
