As you may be aware, Yahoo! has come to the pretty logical conclusion that it's silly to continue maintaining both Flickr and Yahoo! Photos. Given Flickr's popularity, Yahoo! Photos will be closing down.

Yahoo! Photos just got a date on its death certificate: Sept 20th. Starting this week, Yahoo! Photos users will see a new option to move all of their photos over to Flickr with just one click.

Flickr's not for everyone, and it's nice to see that Yahoo! has provided some other options. You can also migrate your photos to other services such as Shutterfly, Kodak Gallery, Snapfish and Photobucket, download them or order an archive on CD.
