SpaceTime - 3D web search

If you want to take a closer look at a result, you double click the window in the stack and the browser reverts to a regular 2D view. To resume your 3D search, you click "Go Back". It takes some getting to used to searching this way, but the experience is richer visually. It can also be a drain on your system resources, and can cause it to go much slower than the "search at the speed of thought" the company claims. Good news though, SpaceTime makes short shrift of those pesky tiny thumbnails so squinting isn't mandatory anymore.
SpaceTime has also includes 3D ebay search and 3D image search, a hint of what might be to come down the road.
Unfortunately, there is no Mac version. The software is better suited to newer PC's running Windows 2000, XP, or Vista, with at least 512 MB of RAM, 128 MB of video RAM, and a modern CPU. You'll also want some stout bandwidth.
The download is free and there is a community support forum as well as a user's guide to help get you acquainted with the program. Let us know your thoughts on this latest entry to 3D search market.

Doesn't work for me. Program gives an error when opening. I found the same error on their forums and they don't have an answer yet.
This program reminds me a lot of SphereXPlorer (http://www.spheresite.com/spherexplorer.html), a 3D browsing-program for XP.

Interesting concept, but not new. Well, I'm going to try it, however seems like it did not work for another person here...

Thanks for checking it out. I got it to work, but not optimally. It definitely was straining. Of course, SpaceTime did advise me that I didn't have enough RAM but that didn't stop me from going for it anyway.
I would try it on my MAC but there's not Mac version yet.
Let us know if you get it work correctly.
