Mozilla working on Firefox Companion for eBay
It looks like Mozilla and eBay are working together on a new Firefox add-on that will work with the online auction site. The Firefox Companion for eBay is in private alpha at the moment, but you can sign up to be a tester.
The add-on will let Firefox users manage eBay auctions directly from their browser. Of course, you usually usually use a browser to access eBay, but we're assuming the new program will be some sort of eBay toolbar for Firefox, allowing users to manage their own auctions as well as search for other's auctions on eBay.
If you've set eBay as your homepage, this is probably the right tool for you. But with everyone from Google to StumbleUpon vying for toolbar space in your browser, an eBay add-on wouldn't be at the top of our priority list.
