So, just how good at time waster games are you? Think you've got the stuff? Well, The World's Hardest Game 2.0 doesn't think you do.
Yes, amazingly, it's possible to have a sequel to a game called "The World's Hardest Game". It doesn't seem logically possible, since if the first one was actually the world's hardest, how could another one come along and share the moniker? It made me doubt the name in the first place. Glad to hear this is out of beta! Desktop sync is where it's at - it's a tough game to master but without it I think most Web 2.0 apps will be ignored by the user base who would actually pay to use them.
Spanning also offers a pretty cool Salesforce.com plugin that sets up custom-filtered RSS feeds from Salesforce to your desktop. Here's a writeup in case you're interested. http://www.undertheradarblog.com/wp_blog.html?fb_2042860_anch=2043673
It's funny that Salesforce.com is so popular BECAUSE it's online (and therefore it's always up to date with the group who uses it) but NO ONE likes logging in to the interface. There are lots of apps in the SF App Exchange that help users avoid the dreaded SF login.
I feel the same way about Google calendars, I hate logging in! Spanning gets it, can't wait to see what they'll sync up next.

Great app, but it isn't cheap. I would advise people to wait until Mac OS X 10.5 comes out. Apple is very well aware of the limitation .Mac currently has and may address them in the forthcoming release of Leopard.
