Microsoft creates Digg like sites
Microsoft has jumped on the social news bandwagon, creating two websites with a digg like social voting style. One for Norwegian consumers, the other for French Belgians. The sites let users submit news, headlines, and blog postings that other users can vote on. Similar to the Digg and Netscape models, users check out the latest stories while voting and commenting on their favorites. Users can subscribe to story feeds via RSS and through their Live.com personal site.

Well let's hope that if copy it, they copy it good. Microsoft has to come out with something really good, and really push it, if they expect people to change or adopt to it. I just hope they allow a whole lot of integration with their other Live services as well, and then that would be cool, sort of like del.icio.us and Yahoo! But maybe they got a chance with this. It doesn't look too bad, but they'll probaly improve it over time.
