Cozi was created by a group of ex-Microsofties to help address the complex dynamic needs of a family lifestyle nowadays. They created a complete scheduling environment to help families stay productive and on schedule. Cozi is a downloadable PC application that serves as a central location where families can plan, schedule and manage all the things they do in life. There is also a web-based version that supports Mac users. Through Cozi users can access their family calendar, schedules, and notes information that are stored in the family's personal system, even when they are on the go. Reminders can be sent out and accessed by any PC or mobile phone you choose. This sounds like the ultimate family planner, 2.0 style. Did I mention it's free?

Each Cozi account has a home page that summarizes the details for the upcoming days with a calendar list of items, shopping list, and messages.

Calendar items are color coded for each family member so users can see active scheduled items at a glance.

A shared shopping list keeps track of all family items needed. Chores and Shopping list items can be assigned to a specific family member.

Cozi collage is a kind of bulletin board that displays reminders of upcoming appointments with photos of your family and a clock.

Great post! I sent my wife to the site and she immediately made me set it up. It seems well thought out and has some great, simlple features. The coolest thing is the ability to either text your shopping list to your phone, or even just call an 800 number and have Cozi read it to you. Thanks again!

this is the lamest web app i have ever seen! no contacts info, no ability to export any of the data in your calendar - what happens if you are already using outliook syncing to a mobile device? it basically just looks nice. get some really funcitonality and then try again.
