Gas - OS X Widget of the Day
With the soon to be released (so soon that I've seen it come and go off their website this morning) 3.0 version of the widget you can input information about your vehicles tank and your driving habits to determine exactly how much it would cost you to fill you tank, and how much longer you can drive on the gas you have.

I don't know if this is a labor of love or merely the brainchild of four very gifted games designers, but Level Up is a really weird mash-up of gaming elements that you have probably never seen in a Flash game before.

This widget is a good idea, but it doesn't work in my area. However, I have setup a personalized page on Google, and one of the extras that I've added (that does work) is local gas prices. Considering you've gotta be on the internet for this widget to pull it's data, it's just as easy to setup your home page to retrieve that data.
