Easily access your photo's EXIF data

With the recent release of Microsoft Photo Info, your photo's EXIF data is just a hover away. This little software add-in allows you to view, add or modify common metadata that is stored in digital photos. Once installed you'll find a new "Photo Info" option when you right-click supported image files in Explorer. Microsoft Photo Info lets you work with individual or groups of images, which is a great time saver if you want to add copyright info to a large batch of photos. But my favorite feature is the ability to hover over an image file and have EXIF data display without launching the app. Great for those times when you just need a quick bit of info.

After installing, you can also add new columns in Windows Explorer -- I now have columns for "Focal Length, Aperture, Shutter Speed, and White Balance". Just right-click the column heading in explorer, and select "More...", and scroll to the bottom and check the ones you want.

I wonder, is there a freeware-program that lets you add coordinates to the EXIF-data? by for instance using google earth?

The only drawback to this is the slow loading time if you don't already have the .net framework 2.0 up and running. Other then that it's simple and easy to use, plus adds enough good thing to windows (you can say group by any column header)

iTag takes the coordinates via clipboard or kmz/kml from Google Earth. It can export the tagged photos to Google Earth and works correctly with the ITPC-Standard. Nice tool.

Awesome! I was disappointed with the Windows Photo Gallery because despite supporting tags, none of it would cooperate with services like Flickr. With this fix, I can add descriptions and tags (er, keywords) that Flickr will read (since it understands EXIF data)!
