It looks like the time has come when all media companies will "spam" us with ads on our mobile devices.
Yahoo! just announced that they will start testing banner ads on mobile browser-based services. Users that access mobile web email, finance, news and sports information in the US will start seeing these adverts. This is the second blow that Yahoo! dished out to users of their mobile services. A test last month of search-based mobile advertising took place in both the UK and US. It's easy to gain the attention of mobile users since their devices are quite typically attached to their hips at all times. Is this an unfair advantage? Not for Yahoo! and their ad network. Their advertising sizes will depend on what size of device a user are using to view the online services. What do you think? Are you game for all this new mobile advertising?
