Want to learn a language? Try out FriendsAbroad
FriendsAbroad is the world's largest online community for people who are trying to learn new languages. It seems like a great social way to learn and meet people that speak the language or, like you, want to learn a different language. The social networking site is free but requires registration. Current contact methods through FriendsAbroad include email and live text chats through the web site. FreindsAbroad is working on adding in free voice calls over the Internet, which I can see speeding up the learning process drastically. For learning nothing beats actually hearing a language spoken. Yes, amazingly, it's possible to have a sequel to a game called "The World's Hardest Game". It doesn't seem logically possible, since if the first one was actually the world's hardest, how could another one come along and share the moniker? It made me doubt the name in the first place. A similar service has already been implemented. I haven't tried it personally though. Try out my language exchange (http://www.mylanguageexchange.com/).
