Want to learn a language? Try out FriendsAbroad
FriendsAbroad is the world's largest online community for people who are trying to learn new languages. It seems like a great social way to learn and meet people that speak the language or, like you, want to learn a different language. The social networking site is free but requires registration. Current contact methods through FriendsAbroad include email and live text chats through the web site. FreindsAbroad is working on adding in free voice calls over the Internet, which I can see speeding up the learning process drastically. For learning nothing beats actually hearing a language spoken. With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.

A similar service has already been implemented. I haven't tried it personally though. Try out my language exchange (http://www.mylanguageexchange.com/).
