As more people realize the benefits to running applications on mobile devices, so shall that industry grow? Or not. The mobile device application development industry seems to be a bit lagging compared with the PC industry. Enter the Greenphone. The first device built on an open Linux platform, allowing developers the opportunity to easily develop and test applications for mobile devices. It sounds like the Greenphone could potentially start the resurgence of mobile application development, but that starts with the purchase of the $695 development device, and a license fee of $195.
With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.
