Google Mac Downloads
Google is sometimes a little slow at releasing Mac compatible applications. They are getting better, and have hired on some additional Mac guys and girls to do the development work. So, now its time to show off the fact that they really do support Mac's.
Google has put together a nice little page for Mac users, which shows their collection of software downloads specifically for Mac users. This list of software includes:
- Google Notifier
- Google Toolbar
- Google SketchUp
- Picasa Web Albums Uploader
- Google Earth
- Google Widgets
Software might take a little longer to develop for the Mac, so we can only hope that Google, and other companies shorten the dev time, and realize that Mac users have been patient long enough.

So, just how good at time waster games are you? Think you've got the stuff? Well, The World's Hardest Game 2.0 doesn't think you do.
Yes, amazingly, it's possible to have a sequel to a game called "The World's Hardest Game". It doesn't seem logically possible, since if the first one was actually the world's hardest, how could another one come along and share the moniker? It made me doubt the name in the first place. This is looking good, hopefully it means in the future Mac users won't have to wait quite as long for versions of popular Google downloads.

Too bad about the new Google Docs - doesn't work in Safari. The old Spreadsheets did and now I can't access my work without going to another browser.
This Mac page has been around for ages - hardly news. They used to have mac.google.com as well but dumped that a while ago.

Different Google topic (there are so many of them, it's firghtening), but I thought you'd be interested in this unbelievably data-rich Google Earth mash-up that FortiusOne is developing. I don't think they've released it yet, but their blog has some interesting visuals... http://blog.fortiusone.com/.

At least giving Mac Users the same advantage as PC users have is a good thing. Each have their own pros and cons for sure. But to try and level things out is a good idea. I hope the new Mac team google got will improve its compatibility with each other. More power to google and Mac!
