Google rolls out SearchMash with little fanfare
A few days ago, Google quietly launched SearchMash. Of course, you wouldn't know by looking at the SearchMash web site that it's at all related to Google, but that's where - surprise! - Google comes in handy. Thanks to everyone's favorite search engine, I learned that this same search engine recently registered searchmash.com and a bunch of related domain names. I also came across this post at Search Engine Journal that attempts to cast some light on SearchMash.SearchMash is being touted - among those who know of its existence in the first place - as "Google 2.0." It's currently in the "sandbox" stage, so feel free to check it out, play around with the new features (including plenty of Ajax, of course), and spread the word around the blogosphere.

Yes, amazingly, it's possible to have a sequel to a game called "The World's Hardest Game". It doesn't seem logically possible, since if the first one was actually the world's hardest, how could another one come along and share the moniker? It made me doubt the name in the first place. It's a nice interface, but I really don't see anything special about that site. Its google with a different look. I really didnt see much ajax action either.
