I have an absolute weakness for physics games, and while Civiballs isn't the strongest physics-based game, what it lacks in the physics department it makes up for a few times over in style and fun.
In Civiballs, you are presented with a few colored balls, and your goal is to get those balls into the same-colored urn on the level. The "civi" part of Civiballs is that there are 3 sets of levels to play, each representing a different civilization. While the civilization doesn't affect gameplay, the artwork for each level is beautifully themed to it's appropriate era.
To play the game, you are given only one tool - a sword with which to cut the chains that are holding the balls. The puzzle part of the game is in figuring out what order, and with what timing to cut each chain. Do it right, and all the right balls end up in the right urns, with no stray balls entering an urn (a no-no). Do it wrong, and you get to start over again.
Civiballs is not terribly deep on gameplay; the entire game can be completed in about 15 minutes. But if you enjoy this type of game, it will be a very enjoyable 15 minutes.

Any upgrade to Yahoo Mail is pointless until they get their spam under control. I've had an account for years and have played with the anti-spam settings and have only seen an increase in spam. UI and features are nice but wading through hundreds of spams a day means I won't use the service.

Sean - You gotta quick visiting those internet porn sites. Yahoo, and their spam control, works great for me. Haven't wasted time telling them what to and not to send to my bulk mail. It just knows.

Looks good with drag and drop features. Feels a little heavy though. Overall - better than what they had before

I have to agree, I recently converted all of my stuff to Gmail and only use my yahoo account for public postings such as this. As of right now I have 947 spam msgs in the inbox and 2241 in the bulk mail after having cleared both just a week ago.
I really appreciate all the new toys and layouts and such, but in the end, until they can get their spam under control, it's nothing but a trash account for me.

I much prefer Y! Spam filtering over Hotmail.
I've had both addresses since early mid 1990's and so they've been harvested for a long time.
Y! moves most of the spam into the Spam folder, with the Inbox getting a couple of 'nigerian' spam type messages a day.
Hotmail just lets everything in, so much that I just can't use it - similar to your current experience with Y! Mail.

I can’t say enough good things about Yahoo Mail Beta. It really is better than my other accounts (MSN, Verizon, Gmail). I created a new one for my Yahoo music unlimited account (in the past year), so I do not have the same spam issues that others might have with 5 year old accounts. It is really cool when reading blogs at work. The RSS feature allows me to see all the blogs I read on one page with the full articles posted in the order by time(turn 16 blogs into 1). It even includes the pictures. The email portion of the page is amazing as well. It works just like an installed program, even though it’s all online. I have yet to hit a bug (can't say the same for the Music Unlimited Beta test), and I do not have these new features yet either. I look forward to checking them out.
Keep up the good work, and please let me ditch the purple.

Over the years I've marked thousands of messages as spam, but Yahoo Mail only gets a handful into the spam folder. Right now, I have 2900 new messages. At most all but 20 will be spam. So any new bells and whistles are meaningless to me until spam is under control.

I'm intrigued as to why we have completely opposite experiences.
I get very little Spam in my Inbox from Yahoo - maybe 5 a day (usually Nigerian scammers). I have 2700+ in my Spam folder, I don't care about that - I just let it delete (although I would like the Search feature in my Spam as well as the other folders).
I'm not even a Plus user - I let the expire earlier this year.

I just wanted to chime in and say that I don't have any problems with spam on my newer Yahoo accounts (created within the last three years or so). Yeah, if your ID was created back in the mid-'90s and has been around the block a few times, I'd expect you to see a lot of spam. I don't think Yahoo is better than Gmail, but it's a close second.

Post number 5 (chris),
is a SPAM himself because Yahoo mail and Hotmail were introduced after mid 1990s (and not early/mid 1990s as he said)...stop talking trash.
