Window-Snake - Today's Time Waster
I just had to feature Window-Snake as today's Time Waster for the sheer novelty of it. As you might guess, Window-Snake is a version of the classic game of Snake. No, there are no super-fancy graphics, no there are no advanced new features. The only thing that sets this one apart from the rest is that in Window-Snake each of the snake's segments, and the diamonds you're supposed to collect, are represented by individual browser windows. The game is not without its bugs, and is a little sluggish on my machine, and yeah, you'll definitely have to turn off your pop-up blocker to play it, but it's good, clean, novel fun. Oh, by the way, the site has music that starts playing automatically, but it can be muted.[Via Digg]

Yes, amazingly, it's possible to have a sequel to a game called "The World's Hardest Game". It doesn't seem logically possible, since if the first one was actually the world's hardest, how could another one come along and share the moniker? It made me doubt the name in the first place.
