We are starting up a new little feature at the Download Squad called Googleholic. Googleholic will be broadcast twice a week profiling a few smaller but interesting Google facts, tips, and news items. So let's get started!
Google Search for the Visually Challenged
Do you like Google, but not all the ads? Try out Google Accessible search, just released from Google Labs. Google Accessible search provides users with only their search results. No ads. Just results. And very simple results at that. Google has stripped the Google goop out of all the results. No pretty Google blue, or special Google features. It's really just the search results. It's being marketed as "Accessible Web Search for the Visually Challenged". Interesting...
Google Finance feedback Changes
Google made some changes to Google Finance. They took in a lot of consideration from user feedback. The changes include a stock market module that is integrated into Google News. There is now support for multiple portfolio tracking, and auto suggest features in the search box. Reverse chronological order was added to the message boards from a lot of user feedback on that item. For more research, Google Finance has also added links to SeekingAlpha.com.
Rejecting Google Money
Some Google click fraud plaintiffs got a little mad about Google's proposed $90 million dollar click fraud settlement. An Arkansas Court heard claims that it was not enough. But a report had said otherwise, stating that Google's proposal was reasonable. 50 members of the suit objected to the settlement. Google has stated that the parties involved have been creating a suspicion of click fraud, where there isn't any. Click Fraud against Google is highly unlikely, given their highly sophisticated process for weeding it out and minimizing any impact on the advertisers.

Are you guys trying to suggest you were able to see a month into the future when you originally wrote this, or did you perhaps mean this to be for July 25, 2006? :-)
