However i still can't access windows live mail with firefox after click on alert message in msn messenger, that is very stupid now that windows live mail support firefox

Yes i use Windows Live Messenger. I have firefoz as my default browser to, anyway when i recive e-mail, and msn alert me i click on it and open my internet explorer ...

If someone know how to change thant i appreciate!

I've been a bit reluctant to try Windows Live Mail because I don't think it looks that great. But now that it supports Firefox, I think I may give it a go. Lots of people are saying it's worth it.

It doesn't work for me. I always get the following message in a yellow bar...

"Windows Live Mail was not able to complete this request. Microsoft may contact you about any issues you report."

And when I click on the "Report this issue to Microsoft" link, nothing happens.

I'm using Firefox 1.5.0.4 so I don't know what you are doing differently but I'm having no luck.

Dave, the reason why you get that error is because you have Adblock enabled. I also have the same problem, but everything works fine when I have it disabled.

I've been using it a while and still have problems sometimes getting into it with firefox. Even in Internet Explorer it is not as polished as some other email services *cough*gmail*cough*.

I hope when they finally take it out of beta it'll work a lot better than how it does now.

I find that it usually takes me at least two attempts to login even with IE. I'll input my password and login but the screen will show up blank and I'll have to reload the page. The same thing happens with my non-Live hotmail account. It seems that hotmail isn't working at all this morning but I can't wait to check out Live with Firefox.

That double login problem is very common with .NET Passport enabled sites. The redirect from the .NET Passport login sometimes fails to ship you back to the original site. You don't actually have to login again, just reload the blank page and it should work fine after that.

Hmmm.... it sort of supports firefox. I'm running Beta 1 of firefox and still can't resize the preview pane the way that I can in IE. Try again MS - your definition of "support" is different than mine.

i was just recently switched to Live Mail..... i receive emails that have internal links for return mail....when i click on them using Firefox an IE window is opening .. is there some way i can change this?
