Vibe Streamer: Web-based MP3 streaming
To say that Vibe Streamer isn't the only software of its kind would be a massive understatement, but who cares? It looks like a nice bit of software. Vibe Streamer is a free server that lets you stream music from any Windows PC via a web-based interface. It has some pretty slick features, like user accounts and user groups, IP-based filtering, skin support, and a "Who's online" display that shows who's logged in and listening to what. Even better, the download is less than 700kb and its system requirements are pleasantly low.

Easy setup and seems to work well.

Setup and running is pretty easy and seems pretty stable. Only problem is, it seems incompatible with Safari. The Mac users I know had to use Firefox to be able to listen to anything, because the page wouldn't load correctly in Safari...

It's really a great piece of software. I set it up a few weeks ago and it couldn't have been easier. Now I can listen to my music from anywhere.
