I'm sticking with Sage, the firefox RSS reader extension. It's everything I need in an RSS reader without all the rickita-rackita of those fancy thick clients and (for me, anyway) un-needed social aspects. I just want to be informed on my feeds.. That's it.
I wish Sage automatically refreshed the list every x minutes, though, and bolded the feeds that had new items (right now, refreshes are manual).

Gregarius (http://gregarius.net/) is a good choice for those that have web hosting space with PHP/MySQL support. It's like having your own personal Bloglines that will never go away.
