Recover lost photos from flash memory with PhotoRec
PhotoRec is an
open source multi-platform app intended to help you recover photos from corrupted media like memory cards and even hard
drives and CD-ROMs. In addition to photos, PhotoRec can recover many other types of files, including video files,
documents, and archives (e.g. zip files). PhotoRec ignores the filesystem and goes after the underlying data, so it'll
work even if your media's filesystem is severely damaged, and it'll work on FAT, NTFS, or ext2/3 systems. PhotoRec is a
companion program to TestDisk, an app for recovering lost
partitions on a wide variety of filesystems and making non-bootable disks bootable again.

With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.
They key to getting good at Graveyard Shift is learning to use ...

Awesome. I am going to try this out, I had an old camera that had the old compact flash card go bad after a friend took all sorts of photos with it, we thought the photos were gone forever. I am going to try this out, I'll let you know how (and if) it worked.

OH MY GOD!!!
You know what this program is a life saver to me, seriously.
I had some great pics and vids that were taken in my digicam but someone accidentally deleted so I was like "OMFG! OMFG! OMFG! What am I gonna do now?!". Then after that, I did all my very best to search on the internet how to recover files from digicam and... VOILA! I came in to some site with PhotoRec and it totally did save my whole life. I know this is like over-acting. But really, I can't think of how i'm so thankful that I found/discovered PhotoRec. If only I could donate, I really would. But i'm really thankful with PhotoRec and I won't forget this program for the rest of my life.
PS - I'm really serious.
