I Hate Clowns - Today's Time Waster
Let me preface by saying
more than clowns, I hate wacky browser plug-ins. So unfortunately, you're going to need one of those wacky plug-ins to
play this game. If that's a deal-killer, sorry. In this case, it might be worth it. I Hate Clowns is a simple game: throw metal pie plates at ragdoll
clowns as they fly through the air. It's a simple game, and tons of fun (especially if you really do hate clowns). So
why the plug-in? First, it's Virtools Web Player, which is only for Windows, so
that makes me sad. But if you read the story of I Hate
Clowns here, you'll realize why they chose that plug-in. The game was merely an exercise, and the development
platform was an easy target. I mean, it took less than 10 hours to make this... So OK, I'll forgive them— this
time. But if anyone makes a port to Java or something cross-platform, let me know. Because even Linux users hate
clowns.
So, just how good at time waster games are you? Think you've got the stuff? Well, The World's Hardest Game 2.0 doesn't think you do.
Yes, amazingly, it's possible to have a sequel to a game called "The World's Hardest Game". It doesn't seem logically possible, since if the first one was actually the world's hardest, how could another one come along and share the moniker? It made me doubt the name in the first place. This was a good one... spent about 45 minutes getting to lv 47 (the last level). Too Bad its impossible to beat... 999 points lol
